This is an opportunity to learn about the work of the West Wales Rivers Trust where their community engagement officer will talk about their work. As a result the pace of the walk will be variable from a moderate pace when walking to and from the watercourses we visit to a more leisurely alongside the watercourses. The 7 mile route lets us encounter the stream between Skerryford Bridge and Brooksgrove, Merlin’s Brook and the Western Cleaddau.
The ground conditions are variable expect both hard and soft surfaces as provided by urban footpaths, country lanes, green lanes, pasture, marsh and stream side paths. Note the stream side path is narrow and uneven with upstanding tree roots, over hanging branches , soft banks and mud no matter the time of year .
Not suitable for dogs. No dogs please.
Please check the Walks Programme the afternoon before the walk for any changes
