Overview

Join us for our annual Burns Supper to celebrate Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns - or simply to enjoy some food & drink with a Scottish theme!

For this year's Burns Night on Saturday 25 January we'll return to The Millstream in Hitchin.

The menu will include a traditional main course of haggis served with neeps & tatties and creamy whisky sauce.

Vegan haggis is also available, or alternatively, slow braised brisket or gluten-free ham & haddie pie.

We can begin with a starter of black pudding & sausage roll, Scotch broth or smoked salmon, and finish with a choice of dessert: cranachan, sticky toffee pudding or a wee dram waffle (each dessert containing whisky!).

Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available, with vegan options for the starter and main.

Please note the meal is limited to current members of the Ramblers (see our website for details of how to purchase Ramblers membership).

See the Stag Walkers Meetup group for how to book and pay your deposit - and please note the booking deadline of Monday 6 January.

Price:

£25.95 for three courses or £6.45 starter / £14.95 main / £7.45 dessert, to be paid on the night (minus £5 advance deposit).

Location:

The Millstream, 97 Cambridge Rd, Hitchin SG4 0JH. Plenty of parking at the pub or 10 mins walk from Hitchin railway station. Our reservation is for 7pm.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at The Millstream.
