The historic royal burgh of Jedburgh is an attractive town 10 miles the Scottish Borders. There is wonderful walking taking in historic sites, such as Ferniehirst Castle, as well as splendid nature, including the magnificent Capon Tree. Coming via Bonchester gives access to Rubers Law, visible from miles around.a prominent conical hill. On and around the summit are the remains of several historical structures: an Iron Age hill fort and a Roman signal station.
