We are the Solihull Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Our walk covers nearly 1400 feet of ascent so it will burn a few calories and is classified as moderate. The hills are mostly at the start and end of the walk so chance for a good rest in the middle section.Our route follows the North Worcestershire Path into the village of Hagley and then follows the Monarch's Way across to Stakenbridge and Broome Mill. We then progress into the village of Clent before climbing onto the Clent Hills (with some great views) and then back to our car park.
If you would like to car share, we are meeting at Lady Byron Lane, Knowle (Old Warwick Road) Solihull B93 9AG (near J5 of the M42) for a departure time of 9:00 am. Lifts are subject to availability. This is a round trip of approx. 50 miles and a voluntary donation of £6 is considered to be a reasonable contribution towards the costs incurred by the driver.
