We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is a walk in beautiful countryside. A gradual 2.5 mile climb takes us to the coffee stop. After this we pass from Hampshire into Wiltshire then Berkshire and back into Hampshire. Our picnic lunch will be taken in a village churchyard. We join a long distance path for part of the afternoon.
Very little of this walk is flat but most of the slopes are gentle. Poles may be useful for one short downhill stretch and a possible few patches of mud.
