Overview

This is one of the 200 best walks featured in the Reader’s Digest “The most amazing places to walk in Britain”.  Starting in King’s Somborne this walk links some of the most attractive villages and countryside in Hampshire’s beautiful Test Valley.  We walk on tracks, through fields and on by roads.

This is a bring your own picnic walk.  Layers and boots essential.  Some mud on narrow pathways inevitable in January but the vast majority of time very good underfoot.

Car Park by the Playing Fields and Village Hall in Kings Somborne. Turn left off Romsey Rd (A3057) travelling Southbound. Look out for the sign for the Village Hall as the entrance is narrow and a bit hidden between the houses.
