Tiger Bay Ramblers (TBR) is a walking group for people of working age. It is based in Cardiff but walks across South Wales and beyond.

Tiger Bay Ramblers welcomes everyone on its walks but in 2025 we are launching a new walking and hiking group for younger people in their 20s-30s based in South Wales.
If you are under 40 years of age and looking to have fun, get fit, and meet a welcoming bunch of people, then this will be the ideal group for you!
In this introductory walk for the new 20s-30s group, we will meet outside the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. Our walk will take in Roald Dahl Plass, the Norwegian Church and Roath Basin, before we cross the barrage and walk up the hill to Saint Augustine's Church in Penarth to enjoy views back towards Cardiff and the Bay. Our route will take us through Penarth Head Park and down to the pier, along the sea front before we return via the cliff top gardens, through Alexandra park and retracing our steps back to the Bay.
The walk will take place on good quality footpaths and will be taken at a leisurely pace with time to pause to enjoy the views and to take refreshments. Attendees should come dressed according to the weather on the day.
