We are the Ramblers group for eastern Carmarthenshire. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
In the shadow of Carreg Cennen Castle, we descend under the gaze of this dignified ruin to explore the Cennen Valley below, and the village of Trap.
One steep climb early on and 3 or 4 stiles along the way, otherwise easy trails and country lanes. Your reward after: the much anticipated cafe back at the castle.

Free car park for Carreg Cennen Castle. Follow brown signs. The road from Trap up to Castle currently has road works, but should be passable by car.
