Out on Romney Marsh in November expect windy weather but also big skies, scudding clouds and sheep. There's usually plenty of birdlife to see too. We'll be walking at quite a brisk pace on this essentially flat walk, mainly along grassy paths. Please check the forecast beforehand, the area is very exposed with no shelter, if wet proper waterproof clothing is a must. Bring refreshments and picnic lunch for which you'll be sitting on the ground.
This is an opportunity for someone to practice/learn map-reading skills if they would like to.
Pick up and drop off at Rye railway station/bus stop might be available, please contact the leader in advance.
