Circular walk starting at Bodiam Castle National Trust Car park. This walk will be taken at a leisurely pace for newer walkers , or those who just like a slightly slower pace. We will walk on some well used paths and with some gentle up hill to Salehurst Church , where we will have a short break for refreshments. We will return on a flat route alongside the River Rother .
This walk has approximately 8 stiles to negotiate, which are generally person and dog friendly! Bring a drink and snack for a short stop at the church . Toilets and cafe available at the National Trust car park. If you are not a National Trust member and don’t want to pay for parking , please park considerately on the road nearby and meet us in the car park . Car park opens at 9.45 so don’t come any earlier( I won’t be there !) as this cause problems on the approach road . So long asi know you are there we can wait while you put on boots etc.
Bodiam Castle National Trust car park opposite The Castle pub on Castle Road . Non members £5 . If you are not a member or do not want to pay for parking please park considerately on the road nearby.
