A circular walk with great views ( weather permitting)on the South Downs . Setting of from Rottingdean across the downs up Castle Hill towards Kingston . Taking in parts of the South Downs way over towards Telscombe and back along the sea front .
A moderate to strenuous walk , which will be taken at a moderate pace . There is no shelter on this route so be prepared to protect yourself from sun/ rain or wind , and few benches , so bring your sit mat , to sit on the ground at lunchtime! No stiles!
Bring lunch and plenty of water . Toilets on the sea front towards the end .
Foot path at top of Bishopstone Drive near the junction with westmeston Avenue , Saltdean .
