Overview

Meet outside the main building for a circular walk, mostly around the Estate but it includes some wooded area towards Westhumble. This is an undulating walk with some gentle inclines and descents. Most paths are gravelled but some footpaths may be muddy after rain. No stiles.

I am looking forward to seeing you all at Denbies tomorrow afternoon. I thought I should update with information on the A24 road closure, north of Denbies. There is access from the roundabout between Denbies and Pixham.

You may be aware of the A24 road closure, northbound, due to an oil spillage. David and I went to Denbies this afternoon,  the main entrance is open (there are cones to the northbound carriageway after Denbies, but the estate is accessible from the southbound road from Epsom). You may need to follow a detour to return home to Epsom, Ewell and Stoneleigh.

I have reserved spaces for those people who told me they would be joining us for tea in the conservatory.

Do let me know if you need any further information.
