A classic country walk, going across fields and through varied woodlands, including Weethley and Cold Comfort Woods, and hopefully some more. There is some up and down, about 800 feet of ascent throughout the walk. At this time of year it should be a very pretty walk, with some good views, and perhaps a deer or two. There may be some mud, it depends on the weather over the next few days. There will be a few stiles.
Basic directions: From South West Birmingham, take the A435 towards Studley, and pass straight through Studley and Coughton. After passing Coughton Court on your left, at the next island go virtually straight on (2nd exit) signposted Alcester. Pass the grammar school on your left, then at the traffic lights turn left on to School Road, then take the third right on to Moorfield Road, then you will turn left into the car park. Do not go over into the Waitrose car park!!
