Overview

Park near or in the field behind The Bell at Aldworth, where refreshments may be had from 12.00. The walk starts in front of the Bell at 12.30 and involves a gentle ascent past Streatley Warren to the Ridgeway, towards Thurle Down, gradually uphill past Kiddington Cottage to Westridge Green and thence to St Mary’s Church where Tea and Cake will be available to purchase. No stiles but some tracks can be stony. Far reaching views over the Downs. Elevation/descent of around 500ft. Alternatively just join us at the church (SU 554 794) for Tea/Cake at circa 3pm. To ensure sufficient cake, please message us on 077 646 12053 by Monday 12th August if you are coming.
