We are the Hillingdon Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk will begin at Amersham station (toilets available) and head down to the car park in Old Amersham (toilets available) where we will collect car drivers. Train travellers will walk around 13 miles and car drivers will walk around 11. The walk will head off towards Coleshill and Winchmore Hill and then on to the lunch stop at Penn (near the pond). We will then move on towards Penn House and Penn Wood before returning to Old Amersham via Mop End.
On the return journey, we will stop at a pub in Old Amersham where the leader will buy everyone a drink in recognition of his upcoming change of decade. Those who are tight on time are free to walk on independently to car park or tube.
Walkers can either join the walk at Amersham Station at 10:05 (following arrival of Met line train due at 10:05) or at the Old Town Car Park, The Broadway, Amersham Old Town, HP7 0HL (£3.80 per day) at 10:25
