We are the Mid Sussex Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We often see this reservoir from the Downs, this walk takes a closer look.
Walk encircles reservoir and crosses the Cuckmere River. We pass through open fields towards Upper Dicker and pass near the outer edges of Michelham Priory following the Wealdway. We spend some time walking through woodland so if it’s a sunny day it should offer some shade. Through Abbott’s Wood where we will stop for a picnic lunch. We join the Pilgrims Way on our return to Arlington.
