Overview

A linear walk from Worlds End, Burgess Hill up onto the Downs and across to Lewes, returning by train.

Meet up roadside outside Wivelsfield train station.  Largely level in the morning, across Ditchling Common through the bluebells of Blackbrook Wood, past Plumpton racecourse to the Half Moon, PH for lunch (NB: pre-order!).  But then a hard stiff climb up onto the South Downs Way, before a long and gentle scenic descent down past Blackcap and the old Lewes racecourse with a last short climb for the views by Lewes castle before dropping down to the train station.  Ten or so stiles in the morning, but all reasonable.

Please text the leader to book onto this walk.
