Overview

We will start the walk from the village hall carpark. Permission to use the carpark has been agreed and a donation requested. £1 a head. The walk will take us through farms and then to the village of West Compton where we will have a coffee stop. Then over to Eggardon and over track and lane before crossing the disused railway line and heading up to the quaint village of Nettlecombe. Then down past a beautiful manor house to the river, turning east to follow the river back to Askerswell. It will be wet and muddy in parts and there are some inclines but nothing too strenuous.

Picnic. No dogs.
