We are the South Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This winter Ramble starts with a circuit of Burrough's Hill with good views around Salisbury. We then walk through Clarendon Park (woodland) out to Pitton past the remains of Clarendon Palace where we will have coffee. Walking is mainly on the Clarendon Way and Old Sarum Way which should be generally good underfoot. There will be significant stretches of mud and some exposed slippery chalk. There is a mixture of woodland and open downland walking. Map: EX130.
