Cancelled: Balerno, Pentland Hills Circular

Meeting at the Threipmuir Reservoir Car Park, Balerno, a circular mid-height walk in the Pentland Hills.  Good paths and tracks before ascending up and over West Kip (551m), East Kip (534m), and Scald  Law (579m), dropping down to The Howe for lunch.  We will then continue to skirt round Black Hill and returning to car park along Threipmuir Reservoir.

This is a Grade B+ walk, and an approx. 13.7km/8.5miles.

Part of the route could be muddy and wet, and depending on weather conditions on the day the walk route may be shortened to 12.3km/7.6miles.
