Overview

Figure of eight walk from Barley car park following the Pendle Way up to Pendle House then circling back to Under Pendle and Barley Hill back for lunch in Barley.

After lunch we follow the track onto White Hough and Thorney Holme then turning up Heys Lane and Thorny Bank and into Newchurch and finally over the tops to Black Rock, down onto Heys Lane and into Barley

As this is a figure of eight walk you don't need to carry your lunch. The Cabin cafe on the car park will supply drinks and food, if you like, or there are plenty of picnic tables where can eat your butties etc.

The morning half is approx 3.5 miles and the afternoon half is  approx 3 miles

There are pubs and the Cabin for refreshments to finish off the day
