Overview

Meet at 10.35am at the Help Point on Platform 1, Barnes Bridge station (no barriers). Train leaves Staines station 10.03am, Ashford 10.06am and arrives Barnes Bridge station at 10.32am. Walk finishes at 3pm. Return train times 14/44 minutes past the hour.

Apart from the steps at Barnes Bridge station this is a flat riverside walk with a meander around Chiswick House grounds before a coffee stop at their cafe. Chiswick House cafe only takes cards. Rejoining the towpath we walk to the Rutland Arms pub at Hammersmith bridge for lunch, or picnic in Furnivell Gardens, before crossing the bridge and walking beside the river back to Barnes Bridge station.

This walk is for Staines Ramblers members only.
