Overview

A medium-pace, flat walk following the Beverley Brook through South West London's varied and scenic urban commons.

Route: New Malden - Wimbledon Common - Richmond Park - Palewell Common - Barnes Common - Putney Lower Common - Putney Embankment.  Be prepared for some muddy stretches especially in Wimbledon Common.

Lunch: Cafe or picnic in Vine Road Recreation Ground.  Please bring something to eat with you just in case the cafe is closed.

Travel: Train from Waterloo 10.08, Clapham Junction 10.15, Wimbledon 10.22, arriving New Malden 10.28.
