Overview

A pretty walk through fields, valleys and woodland, with wild flowers in Spring, hilly with some stiles.

Lunch stop near ‘The George & Dragon’ pub in Downe Village, close to Darwin’s home, but bring own picnic.

Travel: Train from Charing Cross 9.31, calling at Waterloo East 9.34, London Bridge 9.40, arriving Knockholt 10.20.  Knockholt is in TfL zone 6 so Freedom Pass/Oyster/and contactless are all valid.
