We are the Bury St Edmunds Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The rolling countryside between Bildeston and Lavenham has a lovely choice of footpaths and great views.
We'll have lunch in Lavenham Market Square and return via a different route, through Preston St Mary and Kettlebaston.
There should be a chance to buy drinks (or ice creams!) in Lavenham, but please bring packed lunch and enough drink for the day, in case the cafes and shops are busy.
Parking at Chamberlin Hall (Village Hall), by kind permission of the Management Committee. Please park in the corner of the car park, furthest away from the hall and playground, to leave the rest of the car park free for other users.
