Overview

We will follow the second half of the Colne Valley Path. Our route takes us along the Halstead River Path and on to historic Castle Hedingham, before a final section to Great Yeldham. Quiet countryside with lovely views. Field paths and lanes.

Possibility of toilets in Halstead and ice creams/cold drinks at Castle Hedingham, but please bring a picnic lunch and plenty to drink.

Note, this walk will require cars at both ends of the walk so booking essential by 16 July.
