Overview

Parking at Barrows wake near Birdlip.

Heading over the Reservoir to Great Witcombe  Roman villa

Then up Coopers hill (famous for the cheese rolling and wake).

then up to Kimsbury hill fort at Painswick beacon (on a clear day you can see the seven crossings and the black mountains).

then down to Cranhom and a stop at the Black horse pub for a drink (weather and space permitting).

then up a steep hill back to Barrows wake
