Overview

The walk will head along the river Tay, passing the Birnam Oak, before crossing the bridge to Dunkeld. Then on to St Colm’s Well before heading to Polney Loch and Cally car park. The return will take us through Fungarth and Craig Wood to Dunkeld and Birnam.

The walk has some uphill sections and some parts of the path can be muddy if wet. Gaiters and sticks would be useful for this walk.

Those travelling by bus from Perth take the No.34A leaving from Mill St, Perth 09:25am, arriving at Birnam Hotel at 10:14am.
