A relatively flat walk around the East Hertfordshire countryside. Starting at the historic town of Bishop's Stortford we will also visit the picturesque village of Much Hadham at lunch with it's c.12 church that includes the more recent addition of two Henry Moore sculptures at the entrance. We will then head back to Bishop's Stortford via woodland and the River Stort towpath.
There will be an optional pub stop at lunch, but please bring a packed lunch.
Travel: Take the 9:55 from London Liverpool Street (10:08 Tottenham Hale), arr. 10:33 Bishop's Stortford.
Meet outside Sextons Road exit at Bishop's Stortford Station.
