Overview

From the start, we walk into the park of Hermitage of Braid and Blackford Hill Local Nature Reserve.  This is a pleasant woodland of undulating paths.  As we pass Braid Hills Golf Centre we will stop here at the cafe for drinks and toilets.  Our walk then takes us up Buckstone Snab.  Good views at the top of this hill of Edinburgh and Arthur’s Seat.   We then walk back to the Hermitage of Braid Nature Reserve, where the walk will end.
