Overview

A familiar circumnavigation of Minchinhampton mainly on lanes and National Trust common land owned for three centuries by the Abbess of Caen (Minchin is Anglo-saxon for “nun”).

There are three easy stiles, one short, sharp hillock and one very short sharp hillock. Otherwise the going is flat and the pace will be gentle although longish grass on the common may be wet.
