Overview

This walk is pretty spectacular and Eastleigh Ramblers have to do it! The Elizabethan country house at  Breamore has been the film set for Pride and Prejudice (2005), Thomas Hardy's The Woodlanders (1997), a BBC production of The Children of the New Forest and many others. The landscape is truly bucolic with water meadows, ancient woodlands, rolling chalk downland, thatched cottages and an Anglo Saxon church. There is also the Mizmaze, hidden in the woods....weird!

The walk is gently undulating and there are a few styles.
