Overview

This is a circular walk around Christchurch Harbour, exploring Hengistbury Head, the River Stour, Christchurch Priory, and migrating birds at Stanpit Marsh. We will need to take the ferry over to the beach (£2.50). Please note the Ferry does not operate in bad weather.  

THERE IS NO MAXIMUM LIMIT FOR THE NUMBER OF WALKERS ON THIS WALK BUT YOU MUST BOOK A PLACE.

If you would like to join this walk, please email the leader (by clicking on the email box above). Bookings must be made by 8pm the day before the walk. Please only attend the walk if you have received confirmation of your booking from the walk leader.

Parking is on either Ledbury Road or Pauntley Road adjacent to the Cricket Pitch.
