Overview

Meet at Kingsmeadows car park at 11.10 a.m. and car share to Stobo village hall to catch the 11.43 bus (number 91) to Broughton. If you prefer, you can drive directly to the village hall.

After getting off the bus at the foot of Broughton Place, we will join the John Buchan Way, walking  up past the farm buildings and the former gallery, on to the open countryside. We follow the JBW back to Stobo, stopping for lunch about an hour into the walk.

The walk is on good tracks/paths, with moderate uphill on the first 2 miles. Some sections may be wet and muddy, depending on recent weather.
