We are the North West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We get our limbs loose by following the By Brook Eastwards before ascending the hill past Rudloe Manor and through Rudloe village to the Eastern portico of the main 3Km tunnel. We turn west past Hazelbury Manor to view the Western portico just outside Box. Our walk is not yet finished as we now head to the lesser-known Western tunnel which is only 0.35km long but still with good examples of Brunel's architecture. This walk has one long climb and well worth the effort. Please bring a packed lunch.

We meet at the Selwyn Hall / Valens Terrace Car park in Box, SN13 8NT at 09.45am for a 10.00am start, For those who are happy to car share, we meet first at 09:30am in the Bath Road car park in Chippenham at ST 918 733 or SN15 2SA. (“Pay and Display”). Lifts are suggested at £1.40.
