We are the North West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

If you are a Ramblers member, please bring your membership card. You MUST text or ring the leader to BOOK a place. You should not join the walk unless you have received a verbal CONFIRMATION or a TEXT.
The plan is to ascend the ridge to the West of Crickhowell. This is where much of the limestone was quarried in the 18th century for the steel industry. It is now also a centre for pot holing. We will explore the ridge to the South and the “peaky stone” before returning via the Cambrian way to drop to the Brecon canal and hence back to the start. We will start at 10am from the Beaufort St car park in Crickhowell (google search code VV57+FM Crickhowell, or What3words ///gambles.formally.defender. Nearest Post Code NP8 1BN. Please note there is a charge of £5 per car for the day. Toilets are on site and there's a coffee shop across the road which opens at about 9.30am.
