We are the Glasgow Young Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A chance to blow off the holiday season cobwebs and take in some spectacular views of Edinburgh!
We will start with Calton Hill, then proceed to Arthur's Seat, with an option to extend the walk to the Hermitage of Braid for a scoot up Blackford Hill. This provides stunning views of the city of Edinburgh and is well worth the short climb on a clear day.
Then we will make our way back to the city centre through the Meadows and Edinburgh Old Town, stopping for refreshments along the way.
