Cardrona to Peebles via Cardrona Forest and the Drover's Road Grade B+ moderately demanding with a distance of nearly 18 km and a total ascent of 614 metres.
Meet outside the Peebles post office (EH45 8BZ) to catch the 09.15 X62 bus towards Galashiels, arriving in Cardrona at 09.25.
Walk through Cardrona golf course, crossing the B7062 into Cardrona Forest. Follow a clear path through the forest, exiting via a gate opposite Orchard Rig. Follow the path which eventually joins with the Cross Border Drove Road. This path goes all the way to Peebles via Kirkhope Law, arriving just outside the town at Gypsy Glen. There are no stiles or gates to climb.
