We are the Ramblers group for eastern Carmarthenshire. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Carreg Cennen, Dryslwyn, and Dinefwr: three castles to be spied around this walk straddling the two valleys of Cennen and Tywi. Down the River Cennen, the woodland aroma of wild garlic gives way to views across open pastures as we climb above the village of Trap. Over the ridge greets us with expansive vista of the Tywi Valley before gaining our highest spot at Pen y Lan, where all 3 castles can be seen. Coffee and cake awaits us as we descend back to Carreg Cennen Castle.

No dogs , except assistance dogs, due to sheep with lambs.
