Overview

Join us on a walk around (not up) St. Martha's Hill, starting in Chantry Wood and heading out on a clockwise circuit.  We pass through the historic Chilworth Gunpowder Mills and have great views southwards from the downs.  One significant but steady ascent of about 100 m and one stile.   For anyone who feels that their day is incomplete without a climb of St Martha's Hill itself, there will be a strictly optional ascent from the car park following the walk (30 min. extra).
