Overview

An interesting scenic walk on good paths that are usually dry underfoot, though after the wet winter there could be occasional wet and/or muddy patches. The route will take us to the boundary fence of the MoD Ash ranges via Vines Farm, Chair Hill, Henley Gate, Henleypark Lake, Oldfield Wood, and Bowling Hill. Mainly flat - the two named hills are neither high nor strenuous! The whole walk is on military land, almost entirely on public rights of way and/or signed permissive paths.
