A circular walk climbing to an atmospheric ex-airfield, then offering stunning views as you descend before a second climb to the top of the scheduled ancient monument of Little Solsbury Hill. Some steep hills!

Lay by under A46 at Upper Swainswick. BA1 8BJ What3Words - files.grant.goats Go down the A46 towards Bath. There is a minor road on the left labelled with village names, Swainswick should be named. Turn left and you will see parked cars on the right - park there. (On the opposite side of the A46 to The Gables.
