The walk starts at the entrance to Chawton House and we take footpaths, crossing the A32 to join St Swithun's Way and approaching Four Marks we head back and return through Lord's Wood and into Lower Farringdon, finally walking through the grounds of Chawton House.
Bring a drink and a snack.
The route has some hilly paths. Some areas may be muddy. Please wear sturdy footwear.
We will start at the entrance to Chawton House on the old Gosport Road. From the Chawton roundabout, take the Winchester Road into Chawton village, and turn right into the old Gosport Road. The entrance to the drive at Chawton House is at the end of the road. There is plenty of parking in the road on the approach and the car park at the very end should be open as well.
