We are the Cirencester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Parking is at Chedworth Roman Villa, but please use the overflow car park. Then take the steps down to the road and walk to your left to the main car park. From here we talk a fairly steep stoney path up through woodland The walk continues across open farmland and tracks to the village of Chedworth where we will have lunch. From here there is a section of road before returning to woodland paths and then a track alongside the river Coln. Wellies/gaiters and walking poles are advised. Walkers may wish to visit the Villa after the walk – free to NT members £13 otherwise. There is also a café which can be accessed without paying.
