Overview

Meet at 10.30 outside Cheshunt station.  (Both stations are on the London Overground Line and your Freedom Passes will be valid if you use that line to get to Cheshunt station).   Join Peter for a three-and-a-half mile linear walk through the Hertfordshire Borough of Broxbourne passing through historic Cedars  Park, the site of Theobalds Palace, a favoured residence of James 1st and Queen Elizabeth 1st.  The park covers over 19 acres and has Green Flag status which is awarded to well-managed parks and green spaces.  Toilets and refreshments.  Finishing at Theobalds Grove station around 1.30pm.
