A most enjoyable fairly level ramble, affording good countryside views.
Part of the walk passes through the grounds of Hever Castle, an enchanting, double moated, 13th century castle that was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.
This walk is through woodland, fields and a small amount of lane walking.
At this time of year this walk is generally very muddy therefore it is recommended that you bring either wellies, walking boots with gaiters and walking sticks will be required.
Nibble break half way round.
Please park tidily along the village road avoiding the school.
For those wishing to have lunch or drinks after the walk, sadly the Castle Inn at Chiddingstone will be closed as it is undergoing a well investigation, but only a short drive up the road is The Rock Inn at Chiddingstone.
