A walk through the Chess Valley and the tranquil Chiltern Hills with some superb panoramic views. The walk is undulating with a number of steep ascents. For lunch the walk climbs up to the village of Chenies where there is a pub but bring a packed lunch. There is the Church of St Michaels in the village, former home of the Russell family, well worth a visit during the lunch break.
Afternoon walk parallel with the Chess valley passing Latimer House before eventually descending into Chesham.
The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors, such as weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken.
