We are the South Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A varied walk starting from Cliffhanger Car Park at High Cliff, via Highcliffe Castle, Steamer Point Nature Reserve, Christchurch Harbour and the Priory before taking the Stour Valley Path to Hengistbury Head and catching the short ferry back over to Mudeford and returning to Chewton Bunny. Whilst the walk is 12.5 miles, it is predominantly flat and on good surfaces. Please bring £3.50 CASH ONLY for the ferry. The car park charge is £12 per car for up to 12 hours so please car share as much as possible. Alternatively, off street free parking is available on nearby Montagu Road or Stuart Road, although this could be as much as 0.5 miles from the start. Plenty of loo stops enroute and a cafe at the end!
