Overview

A four mile circular walk through the lead mines car park, joining the coast path at Pengirt Cove on to The Rumps, an iron age promontory fort, for Christmas cake (supplied by group); passing volcanic pillow lavas on the way to Pentire Point. Walk leader: Hilda.

Meet and park at New Polzeath Long Stay Car park. 3-4 hours: £4.80. Often possible to park free in the street just below car park or on front. We go through NT car park at Pentireglaze if you are a member so no car park fee.
