Christmas Tree Festival walk

A pleasant easy walk along the Thames Path from Datchet to just beyond Old Windsor Lock to Old Windsor Parish Church. The church has a Christmas tree festival over the weekend. The ladies of Windsor & District Ramblers have decorated one of the trees in a "ramblers" theme. The church is offering refreshments over the festival weekend. We will spend some time in the church admiring the trees and having refreshments before the walk back to Datchet. The route is flat with no stiles but does involve a flight of steps from the road down to the river, there is some road walking. The Thames Path will be muddy and wet after rain, so please wear waterproof walking shoes or boots. This walk is suitable for new members or those who like an easy paced walk.
